A coworker was marveling at my typing skills and the prose I use as I begin to finish my assignment. He is curious about all of the tools that I have learned to use and he frequently asks, "What other tools do you have stored away in your brain?" In that question is another opportunity. I simply smiled at him and told him, "Well, you will have to wait for that. You will see what some of the tools are that I have that can be used in business." As an INFJ, there is a pang of joy because this professional has experienced the positive result of a few of the solutions that have been presented and implemented for project success.

He is antsy and pensive as I keep him waiting for the moment of my assignment completion with the abstracted sections. He knows my tendency and propensity to continue to work for zero defects as we both bemoan software that frustrates us. We often discuss possibilities of contribution with system integration. His exuberance and his ability to dream fascinates me. It is a tremendous pleasure to work with him as we hear various problems at work from system scripts to connect various databases, for system pushes to update other systems. As we understand where challenges in communication lie he often pontificates what cost effective solutions we could come up with. Recently, he stated, "We need to build something together!" Heck yes we do.

I bring my various tools into the work force, slowly exposing narrowed perceptions to updated systems and resources. I feel a draw, a need to find a lab with an organization that needs people who love being Systems Analysts. Analyzing systems, collecting data with Business Intelligence tools, all of these tools afford strength and opportunity to streamline transparency as Project Managers demand status updates. It has always been my strength with implementation. Why? Because, much like many of my colleagues, it frustrates me when frequent requests are made that interrupt my focus and concentration that has everything to do with timeline goals.

What is the value of an INFJ? We can see the larger picture. We are the command interpreters of cross functional teams. We are natural born moderators between system functions and we are driven by collaboration as we listen to many others who discuss how they feel. We have strengths that lend to successful forecasts because we understand many challenges. We can abstract, encapsulate and isolate--successfully--in order to push forward to project goals. Every project should have an INFJ as a key team member. It may be challenging to understand us, but isn't that the struggle that many high level managers have? What tools would make our lives, in business easier as we move towards goals and aspirations? What tools can help solve your business needs in global market penetration? INFJs encapsulate the strength and knowledge that can analyze and communicate the needs of others.
